The boys donned the Secondary Supporters kit for the third game in a row on Saturday as they faced off against FC Dallas.
Following lunch, a regen session, and a quick pre-game meal the boys departed the hotel and made their way to Toyota Stadium. They scoped out the field before heading to the locker rooms to get prepped for kickoff.
On Saturday we saw defender Marcelo Silva and Homegrown defender Aaron Herrera return to the lineup following injuries sustained on May 1 against Sporting Kansas City.
The match came alive in the 20' minute when Rubio Rubin found the back of the net following a perfect assist from Nick Besler. This marks his fourth goal in fives games for Real Salt Lake.
When we thought all hope was lost following Ryan Hollingshead's goal to put FC Dallas in the lead, Damir Kreilach came to the rescue! In the 86' minute the MLS vet secured us a point at Toyota Stadium following his perfect header.
"At the end of the day, I think we deserved the point," Kreilach said following the draw in Texas. The final whistle blew and, the boys got ready for the trip back to Salt Lake City. They're back on the pitch on May 29 at 7:30PM to face off against Minnesota United FC for the second time of the year, this time at Rio Tinto Stadium.
